Tania Hussain is a seasoned expert in the writing and editing field with more than 15 years of industry experience. She has a proven success record with a steadfast focus on helping to build successful, effective teams that are motivated and goal-oriented.

Tania Hussain is currently the Executive Editor of TV at Valnet Inc.’s Collider, a Montreal-based entertainment website, where she is responsible for a combination of creative, editorial, and managerial duties. In addition to leading content ideation and development, she works to generate innovative and compelling ideas for feature articles and reviews with her editorial team across movies and television.

Her past work includes seven years at PopCulture, a Paramount Global brand where she was the Lead News Editor and co-managed a team of 10-15 writers. She also had bylines at NBC’s Newsvine, the International Women's Media Foundation, Quietly, Womanista, and YourTango, and was a guest writer for the South Bend, Indiana-based, Wedding Day Magazine. Tania has also freelanced articles in support of the UN Foundation and Water.org.

The Ball State graduate with a focus on communications and journalism with a minor in sociology is a member of the Critics Choice Association and the Indianapolis-based, Society of Professional Journalists — one of the oldest organizations in the U.S. that promotes and represents journalists.

With an enthusiastic love for movies and TV, Tania is a pop culture junkie who can talk your ear off and is your best bet for trivia nights. Not to mention, the biggest fan of comedy-everything leading with The Office and Community, and adores Conan O’Brien. The Toronto-born editor is an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Fighting Irish, and Blue Jays, as well as a lover of travel and food.

She has helped cover and ideate content on major events for Collider’s Features and News verticals since joining the team in 2022, including the Toronto International Film Festival. Tania has also conducted more than 100 interviews since her start in the business. Some of her favorites include Joel McHale, John Krasinski, Jennifer Garner, Bob Odenkirk, Michael C. Hall, Sophia Bush, Andy Richter, Jamie Dornan, Yeardley Smith, Jim Beaver, and a reasonable toss-up between Cookie Monster and Kermit the Frog.

In 2013, her claim to fame was appearing on the Canadian version of Match Game alongside the late, Norm Macdonald and getting a shoutout on the Canadian talk show, The Social for an article of hers from a digital publication she owns with her friends called, The Hudsucker (2012-2019).
